Regasification capacity auctions during service year 2025
Regasification capacity is auctioned at the end of every month in accordance with the Terminal Rules and the attached instructions.

Open Season for service year 1.10.2024 - 31.12.2025
Hamina LNG launches the Open Season for the period of 1.10.2024 – 31.12.2025 to welcome market participants to apply for capacities at the terminal. The window for binding applications is open until 6 September 2024.
The Finnish Energy Authority’s approval decision will be in market consultation in the upcoming weeks, but the market consultation regarding the contents of the terminal rules has been completed and no changes to the rules will be made anymore.
Terminal rules 2024-2025 market consultation
The market consultation of Hamina LNG terminal rules for period 01.10.2024 – 31.12.2025 has been launched by the Finnish Energy Authority at Energiavirasto website. More information in the release on the right.

The commercial commissioning of the LNG terminal in Hamina will be postponed from the previously informed 1.10.2021.
Consequently, terminal services cannot be provided to the market from the beginning of Gas Year 2022 in accordance with the earlier schedule.
Release 4.3.2021
The commercial commissioning of the LNG Terminal in Hamina will take place at the beginning of Gas Year 2022. The objective is to provide all terminal services to the market as of 1 October 2021.
Capacity available for Gas Year 2022 will be offered for reservation from 1 April 2021.
Release 30.9.2020
The commercial commissioning of the LNG Terminal in Hamina is now planned to take place in early April 2021. The transmission system connection will be taken into use in August 2021.
The objective is to bring the key services of the Terminal to the market during the second quarter in 2021. The commercial capacity reservation period of the Terminal services is in November and December 2020.
The commissioning schedule of the EPC contractor will become more specific towards the end of this year.
